Reducing complexity:Solution out of the box

We were asked by one of our clients to help improve how they operated by reducing complexity within their business.

Following a period of analysis, we were able to merge two teams with similar processes into a single team following a simplified, unique process. The result of this was an improved customer service and reduced complaints because efficiency was improved by 25%.   An added benefit to this change was a reduction in headcount within the team which meant freeing up staff for other activities.

Solving the puzzleWe were asked by one of our clients to help them reduce their operating costs. 

By changing the way they did things and removing activities that added no value to the business, we were able to implement 42 different short-term improvements to the day-to-day operation resulting in on-going annual savings of 23,142 man-hours or £401,000.00.
